Good evening. I had a question and I wanted to get the opinions of others. What is something that you would recommend doing with an evening out? My eldest sister is going to be visiting and she hasn't been home for a while. I'm curious to hear any idea.

Oh, it is. If you're trying to get anywhere on a bicycle, you can just forget about it!

I will remember that if I find myself in Australia at that time.

It's when they're raising their babies so maybe they're a little more reasonable than the seagulls. At least you've got some warning.

Well, that at least makes sense. They are just trying to make sure the babies survive.

When I was a girl, my dad told me they get angry when you're on a bicycle because they think you're some sort of creature, and I guess that makes sense. If some kind of bicycle centaur came near Evelyn I'd probably attack it too.

A bicycle centaur. That's pretty funny to picture. But I guess from the point of view of an animal that must be what we look like.

My skinned knees and I weren't really having it back then but I kind of get it now.

Yeah, it's usually more amusing after the fact. I know I've done some things where it wasn't funny at the time, but it is now.

Yeah, a lot of things are funnier once you know for sure things turned out okay.

Yeah, that is true. I know there have been times where my sisters were upset with me and then a bit later, they thought it was funny.

I bet. The tree climbing?

Yes, very much. A few others as well, but definitely that one.

I should feel bad for them as a person forced to chase a kid up trees all the time now, but it is pretty funny.

They'd probably feel the same. They should feel bad...

Everyone should feel bad for me. I'm not cut out for this motherhood business.

I would definitely be overwhelmed if someone just dropped a kid off with me.

It's been a learning experience for both of us.

Well, if you need a break, I can come over with some things to try and keep her entertained so you can get some things done.

I would love for someone to run her around until she gets tired! So long as you don't mind getting constantly pranked by a five year old.

I think I can survive that for a bit. Maybe my sisters will find it amusing.

I’m trying to help her get used to strangers. Right now she's not a big fan of men but most guys I know aren't really into the idea of hanging out with me and my kid.

Well, I'm not so old. Maybe it will be fine.

Yeah, I'm hoping that another kid will be a little less scary. Your parents are okay with you visiting strangers?

They are fine with it.
