[ Why did everyone lately think he was? Ugh... You do one or two decent things and people get the wrong impression of you! ]
Which reminds me if you want some work you are going to have to get your hands dirty. Dirtier than they were... You have too much of a copper reputation. My guys won't take a chance on you.

soft spot?
what do you want me to do kill someone?
no subject
[ Guessed it on the first try. ]
There's no need to go that far unless you are looking for work as an assassin. I was thinking something more along the lines of borrowing something that doesn't belong to you. Something that would get you attention. I hear old Nicky is good for a bob or two.
[ Nicola "Nicky" Giordano head of the Giordano Crime family. He was not the sort of guy you wanted to piss off but always surrounded by family and a dangerous reputation which insulated him from trouble. Anyone stealing from him could expect instant fame in the underworld and all the trouble that goes with it. ]

[Sorry. Bad dad joke.]
are you mad? im not killing anyone
[Although taking something from Nicky Giordano is probably harder than pulling the trigger. He's right about Bucky's reputation - he will get shot on sight if they see him around Little Italy. There's also no use stealing something that doesn't cause a commotion.]
fine
this is a terribl idea
but fine

[ Bad dad joke counter maneuver. ]
It's a brilliant idea so long as you don't get caught! Leave a calling card or something like they do in those phantom thief picture shows so they know who dun it without actually knowing it was you.

this isnt a film
[This idea is getting dumberer and dumberer. You can almost hear the eyeroll through the tablet.]
i will draw my dream of your girl friend ok ?

[ And then there was art which Crowley found himself blinking at and slowly navigating away from. ]
Or I guess I could ask around at some tattoo shops. This might make a decent one.

maybe its an octopus
[Now that he's actually drawn it and studying it with a little headtilt, it looks like an octopus. But why is he dreaming of octopuses?]
no subject
[ Crowley took a moment to open that image back up and give it another look. ]
Skull and an octopus. Not very medusa at all really. That some kind of Navy logo?
no subject
no thats a ship riding a bird holding an anchor
but maybe it is military
i should find out more

it was weird
[And now it sounds kind of TMI even though that's not what he meant.]

I'm not sure I need to read anymore of this.
no subject
do they have logos in books?
no subject
Depends on the book. Maybe the reference section? Or just tackle a librarian and ask her. She might even know the answer without your having to look anything up.
no subject
i can navigate a library just fine
thanks for the idea
no subject
[ Better to let the librarians field that so you didn't have to. ]
All my ideas are good.

[ Yet. As far as he knew... ]
I did say not to get caught.

[ Or risk dying. Take a few chances, sure, but if people actually getting hurt then it soured Crowley on the whole idea. ]
